  10. I recently installed a Picasso II, 2 MB in my A2000. All the colors
  11. and the resolution are nice but there is one major problem I haven't
  12. manage to solve - graphic garbage.

  14. When I start a program sometimes parts of the active display, usually
  15. the Workbench, is destroyed by random colors. This garbage always
  16. appear in horizontal bands and can be removed with a redraw of the
  17. destroyed area.

  19. At first I used the Picasso software but after a week I changed to
  20. CyberGraphX (commercial) and the garbage has always been there. With
  21. the Picasso drivers I think a flip of screens was enough to remove the
  22. garbage, I'm not sure. With CGX I have to redraw (e g Reset WB, move a
  23. window, ...) to clean the screen.

  25. The garbage starts to appear when a program loads (allocates and writes
  26. to memory?) and I can watch more and more of the screen getting
  27. destroyed by randomly colored pixels.

  29. Beside the Picasso my Amiga has a GVP Combo, that's a 030 with SCSI
  30. and 5 MB of "extended" (GVP-term) 32bit memory.
